In the threatening email sent to the officials, it was written, “We are sad to tell you that there has been a connivance between Pakistan ISI cell and east-LTTE cadres. Honey trap was done by Mossad in Kosova. The Holy Islamic Friday in Tirupati is sorry for bringing the issues of Tamil Nadu to Tirupati! “

Bomb’s false threat at Chennai Airport stirred up midnight at midnight

On Thursday midnight, an unknown email came to the Chennai Airport Manager’s office, threatening the bomb blast. The email wrote that powerful explosives have been hidden in the dustbins which will explode. This message stirred up and the airport officials immediately informed the Chennai Airport Director. After this an emergency security meeting was called in which the big officials of the airport, BCAS, CISF, airline people and the airport police attended. It was decided that the entire airport would be locked and intensive search operation would be carried out.

The vehicles coming to the airport were stopped and investigated. Passengers were additional examined and dustbins, parcels and goods were closely examined. No explosives or suspicious things were found in the search from midnight to morning. Officials said it was a false threat as before. A complaint has been lodged at Chennai Airport Police Station and investigation has started to identify the threatened ones. Due to this incident, there was an atmosphere of tension and chaos at the airport till morning.
