Arjun had ‘Pashupatastra’
Pashupatastra given by Lord Shiva is considered to be the most destructive weapon of Mahabharata. This weapon could destroy the entire earth. Only Arjuna is said to have received this weapon when he performed rigorous penance for Lord Shiva. But due to the fear of destruction of the universe due to its use, Arjun did not use it in the war.
Brahmastra – Brahma’s most deadly weapon
This divine weapon was created by Brahma himself. It is said that only another Brahmastra could compete with Brahmastra. In the war of Mahabharata, warriors like Arjun, Karna, Ashwatthama, Dronacharya and Yudhishthira had knowledge of it. Due to its use the land became barren and the sky became dark.
Narayanastra – The most powerful weapon of Lord Vishnu
Narayanastra was a very powerful weapon of Lord Vishnu. It rained millions of fire arrows and missiles, which no weapon could stop. There was only one way to escape from this – surrender. Ashwatthama used it on the Pandava army after the death of his father Dronacharya, killing thousands of soldiers.
Fire weapon – weapon that burns everything
This weapon was a blessing from God Agni, which could burn its target to ashes in a moment. It could be neutralized only with a conventional weapon. Guru Dronacharya had given this weapon to Arjun.
Vasavi Shakti – Indra’s only and infallible weapon
The Vasavi Shakti weapon given by Devendra Indra was so powerful that no one could fail it. Karna had preserved it for Arjuna, but had to use it to kill Ghatotkacha. This weapon could be used only once.
