The National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India has now become a big name not only in the country, but also the world. According to an international report, NSE has been included in the world’s top 10 most precious stock exchange brands.
This is the first time NSE has achieved this position and has made it to the ninth place. This report has been released by Britain’s brand valuation firm Brand Finance. In another report by brand finance, NSE has been declared the world’s seventh strongest stock exchange brand. It has got 78.1 marks out of 100 and has been given AA+ rating.
39% boom in brand value
In the year 2025, there has been a tremendous increase in the brand value of NSE. This value has jumped 39% to $ 526 million (about ₹ 4300 crore). This simply means that both the name and earnings of NSE are growing rapidly.
Strong growth in earnings and profits
NSE’s earnings and profits are also going up continuously. In FY 2023-24, NSE earned ₹ 14,780 crore, which is 25% more than the previous year. At the same time, profits have also increased by 13% to ₹ 8,306 crore.
Investment boom came from IPO
The IPO’s tremendous performance is also a big hand behind this new record of NSE. In the year 2024, 91 big companies launched the IPO through NSE and raised around Rs 1.6 lakh crore. Overall, the NSE raised an equity fund of Rs 3.73 lakh crore in a year from the market.
Nasdaq Top on top, but hkex the strongest
According to the report, this time NASDAQ (America) has secured first place with the most brand value. At the same time, Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) has been declared the strongest brand, which has got 89.1 out of 100 scores and AAA ratings.
