Oman cricket team had to make a major change for the T20 World Cup 2026. Hasnain Ali Shah is out of the tournament due to side strain injury. In his place, Aamir Kaleem has been included in the team, who has now become a part of Oman’s squad. 44-year-old Aamir Kaleem was part of the team in T20 World Cup Qualifier and Asia Cup 2025. But the board surprised everyone and did not include him in the team for the T20 World Cup.
Aamir Kaleem is an experienced player from Oman, who bowls left-arm spin and also contributes with the bat. Even at the age of 44, he is proving useful to the team with his fitness and skills. In the Asia Cup 2025, he was one of the two batsmen to score half-centuries for Oman, during which he also scored a half-century against Team India.
