Why did this change happen in the India-South Africa first test?
In Test cricket, the first three sessions are played for 2 hours each. During this, lunch of 45 minutes happens first, while tea break of 20 minutes happens later. But, this will not be seen in Guwahati. The main reason behind this is that the match between the two teams will start at 9 am Indian time. Accordingly, lunch time is at 11 o’clock. Now is not the right time to eat food so early. In England, the match starts at 11 o’clock, due to which 1 o’clock is the right time for lunch. At the same time, India will start the match soon. Timings differ between the two countries.
