He has shared a video, in which two men are seen following him for more than 15 minutes and insisting for a selfie despite repeated refusal. This video has now gone viral. This foreign tourist named Ines Faria shared this video on her Instagram account on Thursday. In his caption, he made it clear that this was the first time such an incident had happened to him during his two-month stay in India.
She wrote, “This is the first time this has happened to me in India… and I’ve been here for 2 months. Most of my experiences have been lovely, kind and welcoming. But this day was different. They kept following us and asking for photos, even after I said ‘no’ multiple times. I was feeling uncomfortable, and they were being very forceful. They followed us for over 15 minutes and it felt very irritating. At one point I had to physically push them away to make room. Fell.” He further wrote, “Just a reminder that ‘no’ is a complete sentence. And your safety and comfort always come first.”
