After War 2 flopped at the box office, the film ‘Agent Vikram’ of Junior NTR has been closed. Producer Aditya Chopra has planned a change in the YRF Spy Universe and NTR has left the team.
Junior NTR Upcoming Movie Cancelled: Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s recent release ‘War 2’ has flopped at the box office. Junior NTR is suffering in another film. According to the reports, the production house has closed the film. In fact, after ‘War 2’, producer Aditya Chopra was making spy action film ‘Agent Vikram’ by taking Junior NTR in the lead role under the banner of Yash Raj Films. But seeing the condition of ‘War 2’ at the box office, he has given up the idea of making it.
YRF shut down the next film with Junior NTR?
In his report, Bollywood Hungama in his report quoted sources close to YRF as saying, “YRF Junior NTR’s Pan India was preparing to make a spin off on the role of agent Vikram to capitalize on India popularity. The creative team of the production house started developing a separate film on Agent Vikram. But ‘War 2’ has stopped a separate film on Vikram. Please tell that Vikram is a character played in ‘War 2’ by Junior NTR.
Junior NTR separated from YRF
It is further written in the report that Aditya Chopra has indicated that agent Vikram not proceeding on the spin off. It has also decided that they will further make a new look to Spay Universe. Sources were further quoted as saying, “Moving on agent Vikram is no longer a practical step. Aditya Chopra has also told the junior NTR and he also agrees. They have separated from the production house in a harmonious manner. Now he will not be a part of any film of YRF Spy Universe.
‘War 2’ hall at box office
Released on August 14, ‘War 2’ collected more than Rs 50 crore in India for the first two days. But after this, there was a steady decline in earnings and by the 12th day it has reached 2.25 crores. The total gross of the film in 12 days has increased to Rs 224.25 crore. While the film directed by Ayan Mukherjee has been produced in a budget of about 325 crores. YRF is the next film of Spay Universe, ‘Alpha’, which has the lead roles of Alia Bhatt and Sarwari Wagh. The film will be released on the occasion of Christmas this year.
