This expressway of UP will be put on a toll of only 15 rupees, the journey to Lucknow will be easy

Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway

Uttar Pradesh is in constant discussion for its fast growing infrastructure. Now another big name is going to be added to this list, a new and modern expressway connecting Lucknow and Kanpur. This road will not only reduce the distance, but will also have a mild effect on the pockets of the people.

Travel will be easy, time will also be left

At present, the journey between Lucknow and Kanpur remains a cause of trouble for the people. Due to heavy traffic, jam and slow speed, it takes up to three hours to cover a distance of 90 kilometers. But now after the construction of this new expressway, this journey can be completed in just 1 hour.

The National Highway Authority (NHAI) has said that vehicles on this expressway will be able to run easily without stopping, which will not only save time but will also reduce fuel consumption.

Only 15 rupees toll, will get annual pass

According to the report of News18, now the biggest relief is about 125 rupees on this expressway. But for those who travel by this route daily, the annual pass facility will also be available, the price of which has been kept at Rs 3,000. That is, daily costs will come close to only 15 rupees.

However, this facility is currently only for private vehicles. Professional vehicles will not get the benefit of this toll discount and separate toll rates will be applied to them.

Planning for a long time

According to the report of News18, this expressway is being constructed according to 6 lanes, but keeping in mind the needs of the future, there is also an arrangement to increase it to 8 lanes. It is believed that more than 40,000 vehicles will pass through this route daily. NHAI claims that this road will be able to bear the traffic pressure for the next 50 years.

Pressure will be removed from the old road

As soon as the new expressway starts, the traffic running on the existing national highway will be reduced by 50 to 60 percent. This means that people who walk from the old road will also get relief from the jam. NHAI has informed that the construction work is going on fast and it is expected that this project will be completed soon. As soon as it is operational, those traveling between Lucknow and Kanpur will not have to struggle with jam every day.
