This Bihari billionaire defeated Ambani-Adani in earning from dividend, printed Rs 9,591 crore

The past financial year 2025 proved to be unmatched for some selected billionaires of India. During this time, 10 billionaires of the country earned big money. The surprising thing is that the billionaires have not gained the boom in the earnings shares or through the IPO, but the cash has been done. In fact, the 10 largest promoter groups in the country have earned a dividend of more than ₹ 40,000 crore in FY 2025 collectively.

Interestingly, Shiv Nadar, owner of HCL Technologies and Anil Aggarwal, Chairman of Vedanta, were at the forefront in terms of dividand. He also left behind Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani in this case.

Overall, the earnings of some richest industrialists in India have increased further this year. 10 big promoter groups of the country together earned more than ₹ 40,000 crore only from dividend. This includes the Vedanta Group of Ambani, Adani and Anil Aggarwal. This suggests that due to the policy of good earnings and more payment of Indian companies, the earnings from dividend have increased in almost every field like technology, telecommunications, metals and medicines.

Shiva Nadar Earning Most Earned

Shiv Nadar, the owner of HCL Technologies in terms of earning from dividend, is at number one. He has earned Rs 9,902 crore. HCL gave a dividend of Rs 60 per share and the Nadar family has a 60.81% stake in the company. Vedanta’s chairman Anil Aggarwal, who lives at the second day, has earned Rs 9,591 crore. Vedanta distributed dividend of Rs 17,009 crore. Azim Premji’s dividend of Wipro earned Rs 4,570 crore. He has 72.66% shares of the company. These are third. Reliance’s Ambani family was at number four. He has earned a dividend of Rs 3,655 crore. The company gave a dividend of Rs 5.50 per share.

Gautam Adani earned Rs 1,460 crore

Promoters of Ester DM Healthcare at number five earned Rs 2,469 crore from dividend. On the number six, Sunil Mittal of Bharti Airtel earned dividend Rs 2,357 crore. Infosys Group was at number seven. Narayan Murthy and other promoters earned Rs 2,331 crore. The company gave a dividend of Rs 43 per share. After this, Dilip Sanghvi of Sun Pharma earned Rs 2,091 crore, Bajaj Group earned Rs 1,645 crore from dividend. The last name is Gautam Adani of Adani Group. He earned Rs 1,460 crore. It is clear from these figures that the big industrialists of India are not only earning profits from their business, but are also distributing open earnings with shareholders.
