Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi earned the title of ‘serial kisser’ after featuring in several on-screen romantic and kissing scenes throughout his career. During the filming of the song Bol Do Na Zara, Nargis and Emraan spoke about filming in extremely cold weather. Nargis also joked about having to kiss Emraan five times, for the song, saying she even considered charging extra for the repeated intimate scenes. She also admitted that kissing Emraan was awkward, especially because he was wearing a fake moustache for his character.
While speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Nargis confessed that there were far too many kissing scenes in the movie, and she couldn’t really enjoy them. “I probably didn’t enjoy the song as much as he did. Lots of kissing happened. In fact, there was so much of it that at one point I wasn’t sure if they were retakes, a part of the song, or someone playing a prank on me,” she said.
During an appearance on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, a veteran entertainment journalist disclosed an interesting behind-the-scenes story from Azhar. She revealed that a kissing scene between Emran and Nargis took multiple retakes as the makers worked to perfect the sequence.
Once the director announced the final cut and approved the scene, Nargis decided to get back at Emraan. She reportedly pulled him closer and continued kissing him, leaving those on set surprised. The story further alleges that the unexpected moment left Emraan briefly uncomfortable, though the anecdote remains verified.
