Their luxurious bungalow alone was spread across 5 acres. His family enjoyed the status of royalty in their region. Everything was going well until Sathyan’s father developed a strong interest in cinema, this thing eventually cost him too much.
Initially, he provided financial support to his relatives and well-known actors Sathyaraj and Markandeyan Sivakumar. Later, he decided to produce films himself. He launched his son Sathyan as a hero in his first production, Ilaiyavan. Unfortunately, the film was a major flop, leading to a severe financial setback.
After this, Sathyan’s father passed away, and the situation worsened even further. Eventually, Sathyan had to sell his luxurious bungalow in Madhampatti. It is said that today, Sathyan has no property left.
