In the media reports that came out about Tilak Verma, it was said that he has become completely fit. But, he will not play even in the last 2 T20s against New Zealand and will directly join Team India during the T20 World Cup. It was said in the report that when Team India’s camp for the T20 World Cup will be held on February 3, Tilak will also be a part of it.
Tilak Verma was selected in Team India during the selection for T20 World Cup 2026. However, due to his subsequent injury and surgery, it was said that it would take at least 3 to 4 weeks for him to recover. Tilak Verma has been fit within that time limit but the team management seems to be in no mood to take any risk.
