Heart related diseases are increasing rapidly nowadays. Heart attacks, which once occurred after 60, are increasing today even among youth aged 20-30. In most cases, the reason behind this is actually our diet and overall lifestyle.
Many times, very small daily habits become the cause of serious problems like heart attack. Dr. Shreya Garg tells through an Instagram post that a Japanese cardiologist found in her research that 80% of heart attacks start with one morning habit. This habit is so common that most people repeat it on a daily basis. Let us know about this in detail.
Shocking fact revealed in 22 years of research
According to Dr. Shreya, Japanese cardiologists conducted research for about 22 years on such patients who were completely fit on paper. His weight was normal, he did not smoke and there was no family history of heart attack. Despite this, these patients suffered heart attacks between the age of 40 and 50. Actually, one thing was found common in all these patients, that was that they all started their day in ‘stress mode’. That is, as soon as the eyes opened, the body immediately went into active mode. This habit gradually started becoming heavy on the heart.
Standing early in the morning can be dangerous
The doctor says that the biggest mistake is to stand up immediately after opening the eyes in the morning. Most people repeat this mistake every day. Actually the problem is that their mind wakes up but their body does not wake up till that time, due to which the heart has to suffer the consequences. In such a situation, blood pressure starts increasing rapidly, the level of stress hormone cortisol starts increasing and blood vessels start narrowing. This is a kind of stress for a young heart and is no less than a danger for an elderly heart.
60 seconds in the morning decide the next 24 hours
In research, cardiologists found that the first 60 seconds of the morning decide the remaining 24 hours for your heart. If you suddenly stand up after lying down, your entire system panics. While you feel as if you are waking up, your body feels as if an attack is taking place.
Then what is the right way to wake up in the morning?
Dr. Shreya tells that a slightly different way of waking up in the morning is followed in Japanese hospitals. According to this, you do not have to stand up as soon as you wake up in the morning, rather you have to lie down for some time. Slowly take 4 short breaths, then sit with your head bowed and remain like this for about 10 seconds. After this go and stand somewhere. With this small habit, the body gets time to adjust and there is no sudden pressure on the heart.
These changes occurred in patients only after 30 days
Doctors say that by starting their day in this way, patients see very good results. Such as 35% less increase in cortisol hormone in the morning, 52% less pressure on the nerves, better energy level and less heart palpitations. In some people, even the pressure in the chest became completely negligible. No medicine or device was used for this. This was just a small habit, due to which positive changes were seen in the body.
