These include facilities like wellness allowance, team outing, free food and holidays. This has been revealed in a survey of LinkedIn.
Shocking revelation in LinkedIn’s survey
According to LinkedIn’s Workforce Confidence Index, Indian professionals prioritize salary compared to other types of benefits during jobs. A survey shows that 50% of people do not accept salary cuts at all. Whether the workload is less or even if there is better coordination in the team, it does not matter to them.

Salary First: There is no compromise
Survey of LinkedIn shows that 5 out of 10 Indian employees are not ready to cut salary for any profit. When values were heavy on salary
The interesting thing is that the thinking of all professionals is not like this. Values for some are always more priority than salary. Statistics have shown that 36% of employees are willing to cut salary for the company to suit their personal values. About 33% of employees are also willing to renounce salary for more flexibility and growth opportunities. This thing explains the increasing changes in the priorities of the workplace, where purpose, alignment and career growth sometimes become more important than money.
What do experts say beyond salary?
Industry experts believe that now only salary is no longer the only way to decide the deal. According to Saurabh Shah, Head of People’s Operation of Crafton India, only salary does not always confirm the deal. Nowadays employees want a sense of meaning, flexibility and belonging in work.
