Dr. Sethi posted a video on Instagram, with which he wrote in the caption- “Do you know that your bedroom is quietly affecting your stomach, sleep and long-term health?. In the video, Sethi has also told about those 3 things, including air freshener, old pillow and old mattresses.

Remove the old pillow immediately

According to Dr. Sethi, the old pillow should be replaced immediately with a new pillow. Because over time, dust particles, sweat and allergic elements accumulate on the pillow, which can cause problems like fiber on the skin. In such a situation, if your pillow is more than 1-2 years old, then perhaps the time has come to change it.

Synthetic air freshener is also harmful

Many synthetic air fresheners leave thalats and Volatile Organic Compounds (Vocs) that can cause respiratory problems. A study has also found that 86 percent of the air fresheners have foundals, which are chemicals associated with asthma. In such a situation, use any organic fragrance by not using synthetic air freshener in the bedroom.

Remove the worn mattresses

Dr. Sethi says that any mattress more than 7 to 10 years old can reduce the quality of sleep, which can cause problems like back pain. In such a situation, if the mattresses have become so old, then change them immediately.
