According to the information, Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has cut the prices of major consumer products including Dove Shampoo, Horlicks, Kisan Jam and Lifeboy Soap since 22 September.
A few days ago, the GST rate grew up in the GST Council meeting. Now 5 percent and 18 percent slab has been kept. The slab of 12 and 28 percent has been removed. Prices of these products cut
- According to an advertisement by the company published in the newspapers, a 340 ml bottle of dev shampoo will now be reduced from Rs 490 to Rs 435.
- The price of 200 grams of horlix has come down from Rs 130 to Rs 110, while the price of 200 grams of Jam Jam has come down from Rs 90 to Rs 80.
- The price of a popular pack of four 75 grams of Lifeboy Soap will also be reduced from Rs 68 to 60 rupees.
- HUL said that the revised maximum retail price (MRP) or new stock with increased village is in the process of reaching the market.
- This step has been taken by the government after the government made compulsory compulsory to publish advertisements in newspapers to inform consumers about price amendments.
Decline in company shares
On Friday, shares of the country’s largest FMCG company HUL saw a decline. According to BSE data, the company’s stock fell 1.57 per cent to close at Rs 2,580.30. However, during the business session, the company’s stock closed at the lower level of the day with Rs 2570. By the way, in the last one month, the company’s stock had seen a rise of 3.57 percent. In the current year, the company’s stock has seen an increase of more than 11 percent.
