Even if the Chief Ministers of India are assumed to have meagre basic salary, they are known to be the richest. With multiple properties to huge amassed money, the CMs have a lot in terms of wealth.

According to the new Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW) analysis, 7 per cent of them, are billionaires. Additionally, they also rank among those with the highest declared liabilities, among the 30, eleven of the listed CMs have reported liabilities of Rs 1 crore or more.

Among the top 10 wealthiest Chief Ministers in India, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leads with three names on the list Pema Khandu, Mohan Yadav, and Himanta Biswa Sarma followed by two CMs from the Congress and other political parties.

However, these are not the richest? The richest is N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh with total assets worth over Rs 931 crore, followed by Arunachal Pradesh’s CM Pema Khandu with Rs 332 crore and Karnataka’s CM Siddaramaiah with over Rs 51 crore.

However, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is set to have lowest assest of 15.38 lakh, all of which are movable, with no immovable holdings.
