Srisail Teli hails from Kulali village in Bagalkot, Karnataka. They cultivate apple growing cold places like Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh in the hot weather of South India. The temperature in Kulali village reaches more than 38 degrees Celsius. Even after this, Srisail Teli is successfully cultivating apples. There is a great demand for apple grown by them.

Bagalkot has crops like sugarcane, maize, pomegranate and gram. Srisail used to cultivate teli grapes. He loved apples. Therefore, it was decided to cultivate it. How Srisail started apple cultivation
Srisail said that he selected the Anna variety of apple for farming. This variety can withstand a temperature of 42 ° C. He bought 2600 saplings from a nursery in Shirdi, Maharashtra and planted on 7 acres. 7 lakh rupees were spent. Apple cultivated in a biological way. Usually, the fruit in the apple tree starts coming after three years. The trees planted by Srisail started to result in two years and two months.

Srisail has sold more than 12 tons of apples. They have received a price of Rs 50 to Rs 150 kg. The money spent in starting apple cultivation has been recovered. Today people see him as a successful farmer. They come to learn apple cultivation from them.
