Alert of heavy rain in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, light thunderstorms and lightning may fall in Saharanpur, Deoband, Najibabad, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Amroha, Moradabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Badaun and Etah districts of western UP. Light to moderate rains are also likely in areas like Yamunanagar, Karnal, Jind, Panipat, Gohana, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Rewari and Bawal in Haryana. The weather remains pleasant in Delhi-NCR after Sunday’s rains. Since Monday morning, there has been dark clouds in the sky and there may be light intermittent rain or drizzle in the coming hours. At the same time, light rain is expected in the next two hours in Jhunjhunu, Kotputli, Alwar, Viratnagar and Rajgarh of Rajasthan.
From Kashmir to Himachal rains caused havoc
Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, North Part, Eastern Rajasthan, North Gujarat, Telangana and surrounding areas are receiving heavy rains.
