There will be investment rain in Bihar, the combination of PM Modi and CM Nitish will change the fate of the state!

There will be investment rain in Bihar

NDA alliance has won a landslide victory in Bihar assembly elections. This victory is not only a sign of returning to power, but it also brings a challenge for a ‘double engine’ government to fulfill big promises. The duo of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi i.e. ‘Jugalbandi’ is now claiming to make the state a ‘super economy’. By leading on 202 seats, NDA made it clear that the public has expressed confidence in them. This strong partnership of BJP (win on 89 seats) and JDU (win on 85 seats) is now preparing to implement those big promises which were made to the public during the election campaign. The eyes of the common man are fixed on these promises because these will bring direct change in his life.

New dawn of hopes of youth

The biggest hope behind the mandate given by the youth of Bihar to NDA is employment. The alliance has promised to create more than one crore jobs and employment in its manifesto. Apart from this, it has been said to create mega skill centers in every district to establish the state as a global skilling centre. This step will prepare the people of Bihar for employment in the country and abroad.

On the industry and trade front, the government has promised to create state-of-the-art manufacturing units and 10 new industrial parks in every district. The Union Home Minister has even claimed that a big investment of Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand crore is going to come in the state and 25 new sugar mills will be opened. Under these industrial initiatives, skill-based employment is also promised after the skill census, which means that jobs will not only be available, but they will also be commensurate with the capabilities of the youth.

Infrastructure will be rejuvenated

To make any economy ‘super’, strong infrastructure is needed. The NDA government has made many big and ambitious promises in this field. These include construction of seven expressways, metro facilities in four new cities, and modernization of 3600 kilometers of rail tracks. Along with this, to strengthen air connectivity, it has been promised to start domestic flights in ten new cities and build a greenfield international airport near Patna. There are also plans to develop international airports in Purnia, Bhagalpur and Darbhanga. It is estimated that an investment of more than Rs 54 thousand crore will be made in road construction alone.

Bihar will get Adani’s support

Adani Enterprises Limited, a company of Adani Group led by Gautam Adani, has formed a fully subsidiary company “Munger Sultanganj Road Limited” in Bihar. This company will develop, maintain and manage the project ‘Construction of Ganga Path connecting Munger (Safiabad)-Bariarpur-Ghorghat-Sultanganj Road’ on hybrid annuity mode. This directly shows that even the big corporate houses of the country are now taking interest in the development of Bihar, which is a big positive sign for the state.

‘Panchamrit Guarantee’ of poor, farmers and women empowerment

The government has announced “Panchamrit Guarantee” for the poor and deprived sections, which includes free ration, 125 units of free electricity and free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. This is an initiative to directly improve the quality of life of the common people.

Special attention has also been given to empowerment of women. Under the Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana, women have been promised assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh. Apart from this, an ambitious target has been set to make one crore women ‘Lakhpati Didi’.

Many important promises have also been made for the farmers. Under the Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it has been announced to give three thousand rupees annually to the farmers. It has been promised to ensure purchase of all major crops at MSP at the Panchayat level, set up food processing units at the block level and invest Rs 1 lakh crore in agri infrastructure.

Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) is also continuously giving opportunities to new investors. In districts like Muzaffarpur, land has been allotted for setting up 27 new industrial units for manufacturing of salt, mineral water, biscuits, flour, and other household items, in which an investment of about Rs 18 crore is estimated. It is clear from all these initiatives that this new innings of Modi-Nitish is not just a preparation to run the power, but to give a new pace to the economy of Bihar. Now it remains to be seen how quickly these promises come to fruition.
