A Reddit post revealed how a company immediately fires employees for having a love affair. A manager’s Reddit post has drawn attention, detailing the company’s new formal policy that enforces immediate termination for certain relationships in the workplace.
Employees can’t increase love potions
According to the post, the company has implemented a zero-tolerance policy regarding romantic relationships within the command chain. Under this, any employee who is found in a romantic relationship with another employee directly subordinate to him will be immediately dismissed from the company. The manager further said that if this detail is not shared immediately, the lower level employees outside the command chain responsible for this may also be dismissed.
The manager added, “No gray areas… just… fired.”
The manager, who oversees the employees of a private company with approximately 10,000 employees in 5 states of America, said that this update was announced during a big meeting with the legal team.
