Amit shah naxal warning: Union Home Minister Amit Shah warned the Naxalites at the ‘Naxal -free India’ program in New Delhi. He said that Hathiyari Naxalism from the country will be abolished by 31 March 2026. In 2014 there were 126 Naxal -affected districts, which are now reduced to only 18. Amit Shah clarified that the government does not want to kill anyone, but strict action will be taken against those who harm the innocent by taking weapons.
We do not want to kill anyone but…
Amit Shah said that leave the weapon, we do not want to kill anyone. But if someone tries to kill the innocent, then the government’s religion is to save them. He said that 36 were the most affected districts, now only 6 are left. This means that the area of Naxalites has shrunk a lot.
Why was Naxalism increased and what is happening new strategy?
Amit Shah also stated that there was ideological nutrition and legal and financial support in society behind increasing Naxalism. Till these ideas and nutritional people are understood, complete control over Naxalism is not possible. The Modi government gave the main priority to areas with North-East, Jammu and Kashmir and leftist extremism and made a long-term strategy.
Big change in security and development in North-East
Now the North-East region is well connected to the main India. The region was associated with the country with the train, railway and waterways network. The action of security forces led to 70% decrease in death of security personnel and 85% in death of citizens. 10,500 Naxalites returned to the mainstream and the violence decreased.
Changes after removing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir
Law and order came into force after Article 370 was removed in Jammu and Kashmir. A strict policy was adopted to prevent Pakistan sponsored terrorism. The death of security forces and citizens decreased drastically. For the first time, panchayat elections were held with complete transparency, which led to 99.8% turnout.
Does Naxalites have any way left?
Amit Shah warned the Naxalites to leave the weapons or face action. The aim of the government is clear – to make India Naxal -free by 31 March 2026.
