Actually, there have been allegations that the BJP and its government are running RSS. In contrast, it is also believed that the government led by PM Narendra Modi and his close aide Amit Shah does not agree with the Sangh on many issues.

RSS and BJP do not always agree

Bhagwat admitted that RSS and BJP are not always unanimous. The RSS trusts its members. We believe that at some time they will be unanimous. Decisions are taken collectively. Bhagwat said, “RSS just suggests, does not interfere in the BJP’s decision process. I have been running a branch for 50 years. If someone suggests me, I will hear. But the party is running the country. They are expert in it. We are not (RSS).”

Opponents changed their stand towards RSS

In response to another question, Bhagwat said that there are many examples where those who oppose the RSS have changed their stand. He said, “We see a change in our opponents in our opponents. From Jayaprakash Narayan to Pranab Mukherjee, people have changed their attitude towards us.”
