Most of these billionaires live in Noida, where there are a total of 15 billionaires. This figure of Noida is an indication of how important the city has become from the economic and business point of view. Noida is followed by Kanpur where 8 billionaires live, followed by Agra, where there are 5 billionaires. There are 4 billionaires present in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Apart from this, 3 in Ghaziabad, and 1-1 billionaires live in Prayagraj, Faizabad, Bulandshahr, Greater Noida, Aligarh and Gorakhpur.

Aditya Khemka’s name comes at the top of the billionaires of Noida. He owns the Aditya Infotech Company and has assets worth about Rs 35,140 crore. Alakh Pandey of Prayagraj, known as Physics Wala, is also among the richests of UP, whose assets have been stated to be around Rs 14,520 crore.

A city like Noida has developed IT, manufacturing and service sectors very fast. The better infrastructure and business friendly atmosphere here has attracted investors here. The number of billionaires in old industrial cities like Kanpur and Agra is also good, but the growth that Noida has shown in recent years is far ahead of the rest of the cities.
