World Class Tent City will be ready in 55 days in Lucknow, where 35 thousand scouts-guides will be there. Bhumi Pujan of 19th National Jamburi will be held on 29 September. PM Modi will inaugurate and the President will conclude. The Yogi government hosted this after 61 years.
The history of Uttar Pradesh is going to add a new achievement once again. After 61 years, the National Jamburi of Bharat Scouts and Guides will be held this time on the land of Lucknow. There will be a conch shell of preparations with Bhoomi Pujan on Monday at the Defense Expo Ground in the capital. In just 55 days, a unique tent city will take size, which will host a world-class-guides of 35 thousand scouts-guides.
Prayer and people released with Bhoomi Poojan, senior ministers will be present
Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna will perform Bhumi Pujan at 11:30 am on Monday. The mascot and official logo of the 19th National Jamburi will also be launched from this platform. The program will include senior members of the state government – Yogendra Upadhyay, Sandeep Singh, Gulab Devi and Dr. Mahendra Singh.
About 3500 tents, 64 kitchens, 1600 toilets, 100 shops market and huge exhibition areas will be built in this tent city. There will be 100 bed hospitals and 15 dispensaries for health services. The complex will be kept completely plastic free and based on green energy.

A confluence of adventure, cultural and educational activities
Participants in Jamburi will experience adventure activities such as high ropes, zipline and tracking. Also, scouting genres – first aid, tie knots and learn the skills of living. Global villages, folk dances, song-music and drama will be organized on the cultural stage. Science and technology exhibition will also inspire the youth.
Let us know that on November 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Jamburi, while the President will conclude on 28 November. The event will give youth an opportunity to assimilate life values like leadership, teamwork, discipline and service.
UP got a big responsibility after six decades
The last time Prayagraj hosted Jamburi in 1964. Now after about 61 years, Uttar Pradesh has again got this good fortune with the efforts of the Yogi government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this event will prove that UP is now capable of hosting national and international events.
Jamburi is not just a camp but the Mahaparva of the youth. Here youth will move forward on the path of becoming responsible citizens with new experiences through activities like social service, environmental protection and teamwork.
