There was a lot of commotion in the hospital after delivery.
Some people brought a woman to the emergency of the Medical College at around 2 o’clock on Sunday night complaining of pain due to stones. The doctor on duty here conducted the test. Seeing her big belly, the woman refused when asked whether she was pregnant before giving her the medicine. After this the staff gave pain related injection to the woman. After some time, the woman reached the toilet saying that she had minor doubts.
When she did not come out for a long time, the other woman who came with her went inside and took a look. It was revealed that the woman had given birth. After this, the nursing staff present in the emergency reached there and picked up the child and seeing his serious condition, took him to the SNCU ward of the medical college. The woman was admitted to the gynecological ward.
The woman’s husband told that he has been working outside the home for the last one year. Then how did the wife become pregnant? And why hasn’t he informed his family about this till now? After this, the husband kept creating ruckus from emergency to gynecological ward.
Dr. Sadhna Singh, Head of the Department of Women and Obstetrics, said that the woman was admitted at around 2:30 in the night. The pregnant woman is kept under medical observation for 48 hours but this woman’s husband created a ruckus and insisted on taking her home. After this, formal action was taken and the woman was sent along with her husband on Monday morning.
Newborn referred, died on the way
Dr. Sadhna Singh said that the condition of the newborn was critical due to premature delivery. He was admitted to SNCU and treatment was started. Seeing the need for better treatment, he was referred to Agra but the child died on the way.
The woman is the mother of six children
According to family members, the woman is already the mother of six children. The husband has been working outside the home for the last one year. A dispute arose among the family over the information about the delivery late at night and the husband created a ruckus in the hospital premises.
