Despite not having salary, many special facilities are given to the Vice President. They get a luxurious government house for free, which is located in the Lutyens Zone of Delhi. They do not pay the rent or maintenance of this housing themselves.

Apart from this, the Vice President also gets daily allowance, travel allowance, better medical facility, and many other allowances. In terms of security, they get the highest level of security, in which SPG (Special Protection Group) and Z+ Security covers include. Their staff is also quite large, which consists of private secretaries, officers, and security personnel.

He has an independent Vice President’s office, in which all administrative facilities are available. The government fully bears the expenses of traveling to the country and abroad. He is also given high -level honors and protocols on foreign trips.
