But now the family is looking for a legal way to get this property back.

S Vijayan went to the Arulmigu Renugambal Amman Temple a few days ago and donated his property papers. These include a property worth Rs 3 crore and the other Rs 1 crore. The temple officials came to know about this when they examined the temple’s donation.

Property documents found in the donation of the temple

Every two months the donations of the temple are opened, in which the money offered by the devotees is counted. This time when the donation box was opened, it found real documents of property between coins and notes. Among them were 10 cents of land and a single-mangle house documents near the temple. Along with this, a hand written note was also found.

The temple’s executive officer M. Silambanasana told ‘The Hindu’, “This is the first time here.” He made it clear that by putting papers in the donation box, the property does not become of the temple. For this, the donor will have to register the donation legally.

Vijayan is also ready to legally reserve

Vijayan said, “I will register my property in the name of the temple legally. I will do this work after talking to the temple officials. I will not take my decision back. My children taunted me for my everyday needs.”

Vijayan is a devotee of Renugambal Amman for a long time. Temple officials came to know that he has been living alone in separation from his wife for the last decade. His daughters not only supported him, but have pressurized him to grab property in recent months. This decision of Vijayan has put his family in a hurry. Now his family is taking legal help to get back this property. But Vijayan is adamant on his decision. He says that he keeps his faith and self -esteem at the top.
