Meanwhile, on January 26, things escalated to such an extent that Akshay killed his mother with a knife. After this, he called his sister on the pretext of giving her a gift and murdered her too. Later he killed his father in the same manner. After this, he dug a 4 feet long and 2.5 feet wide pit in the hall of his rented house and tried to bury the three bodies. Later, the bodies were taken out one by one in the presence of senior officials and sub-divisional officer and sent for postmortem.
