Akshay was fighting with his parents and sister for many days regarding his sister’s marriage and money matters. Meanwhile, on January 26, things escalated to such an extent that Akshay killed his mother with a knife. After this, he called his sister on the pretext of giving her a gift and murdered her too. Later he killed his father in the same manner. After this, he dug a 4 feet long and 2.5 feet wide pit in the hall of his rented house and tried to bury the three bodies. That vampire first put the body of the mother, then the sister and finally the father in the pit. When all three bodies could not fit into the pit, he cut off his father’s leg. After this he went to Bengaluru and lodged a missing report of all three. But during interrogation his misdeeds came to light.

Around 10:45 am on Saturday, Inspector Vishwanath of Bengaluru’s Tilak Nagar police station brought Akshay to his home in Kottur and recreated the crime scene. He was asked to show the place where he had killed his father Bhimrao, mother Jayalakshmi and sister Amrita and buried them. Later, the bodies were taken out one by one in the presence of senior officials and sub-divisional officer and sent for postmortem.

But, the police had made strict security arrangements by erecting barricades near his house and preventing anyone from going inside. Vijayanagar District Superintendent of Police S. Jhanvi told that the case has been registered at Tilak Nagar Police Station in Bengaluru and the FIR has also been lodged there. Therefore, the police there will investigate.
