Rampur: An incident like a film story has happened in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. A man had two marriages and there was daily quarrel between the two wives over spending time with him. Fed up with the family feud between these two wives and the beloved husband, the villagers called a Panchayat to end this problem and took a strange decision. Instead of dividing the husband’s property between the two wives, village heads divided it between the husband himself. Yes, it may sound strange, but it is true. The husbands should give equal time to both and the wives should not fight over more or less, so the village heads divided the husbands into two parts.
This incident took place in Nagalia Akhil village of Azim Nagar police station area. A man had two marriages. The first marriage was arranged by the family, while the second was a love marriage. Both the women fought for their rights over their husbands. Because of this the husband was getting crushed between the two. There used to be big fights in the house every day. It had become free entertainment for the neighbors. The villagers say that they did not need TV for evening entertainment. When fights started happening on a daily basis, both the wives dragged the husband to Azim Nagar police station and demanded to hand him over to their custody.
When the police saw that there was no solution to this problem in any rule book, they thought it better to leave the matter to the villagers. After this, the villagers held a panchayat in the presence of both the wives and their families and took a strange decision to solve their problem.
According to the written rules made by the village heads, the man will live with his first wife on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Will be with his second wife on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. And on Sunday he will be the master of his own will, that means Sunday is his day of freedom. But he will have to spend the remaining six days as per the decision of the village heads.
Later this agreement was written on paper and signed by the man and both the wives. This matter is now going viral on social media and netizens are calling it a very creative decision. This thing has now become a topic of discussion in the entire city and people are making various types of comments. One commented that this is the dream of many people.
