This information is a myth, the companies are not hiding anything. This rumor has been circulating since 2010. According to social media posts, the color square ingredients are coded on the crimp (seal) of the tube. Green: 100% Natural, Blue: Natural+Medicine, Red: Natural+Chemical, Black: Only Chemicals. It was also told that avoid red ones, otherwise there can be a risk of cancer or life. But the truth is that this code is nonsense. Colgate, Healthline, Snopes and Science Feedback debunked it. Color squares are for manufacturing. Light sensors tell where to cut or seal the tube. High-speed machines color match packaging. There can be colors like brown, orange, but there is no message for the consumer.
