Jhansi’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra is motivating farmers of 10 villages for improved farming. Selected farmers are being given high yielding seeds and boron fertilizers free of cost. Its main objective is to increase agricultural production.
18 December, Jhansi. Yogi government is motivating farmers for improved farming and higher yields through Krishi Vigyan Kendras. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra located in Bharari, Jhansi is not only motivating the selected farmers of ten adopted villages for improved farming but is also providing them free seeds and fertilizers. By inviting these farmers to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, agricultural scientists are also introducing them to advanced and higher production methods.
Know who benefits from which variety and how much
Through the Agricultural Science Center of Jhansi, the farmers of the adopted village have been provided seeds of a new variety of wheat, Karanvandana, whose yield is much higher than that of traditional wheat. Seeds of Radhika variety of mustard have been provided, which have more branches. This results in higher yields. Prepared plants of advanced variety of cauliflower have also been provided, which have been prepared at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Boron fertilizer has also been provided to these farmers, which helps in increasing the fertility of the fields.
Dr. Aditya Kumar Singh, scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jhansi, said that farmers have been invited to Krishi Vigyan Kendra and they have been provided seeds, plants and fertilizers. Along with providing methods to increase production, continuous guidance is also being provided to these farmers. Farmers can increase production in farming by adopting modern methods.
