Seeing Lord Krishna’s feet among the leaves, he thought that perhaps this deer was hiding. He shot the arrow. That arrow went straight into Shri Krishna’s feet. God became unconscious. Then the fowler saw what a big mistake he had made. He came running there and started apologizing. God forgave him and said that his departure from the earth was certain and he became the means for his departure. Shri Krishna told that he was Ram in Tretayuga and she was the hunter Bali. Then you lost your life because of me, because of that you shot me with an arrow and due to this I will die. Saying this, Krishna left his life.

The place where Shri Krishna sacrificed his life was a forest at that time, but today it is known as Bhalka Tirtha. This place is in Veraval of Saurashtra, which is on the western coast of Gujarat. Now there is a temple named Bhalka Tirtha here. Because the hunter named Jara, whose arrow had taken the life of the Lord, had started worshiping here. After this a temple was built here.
