Thiruvananthapuram: The body of an 8th class student was found hanging in the house. The deceased has been identified as Ananthu (13), the only son of Ratheesh-Bindu couple, residents of Narayanil, Kunnathukal. Last night the family members saw him hanging from the fan of the room. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. He was a student of Karakkonam PPM High School. Yesterday morning the child was reluctant to go to school. The parents had forcibly sent Antu to school. After returning in the evening, Ananthu hanged himself inside the house at night. Velarda police have registered a case of unnatural death. Today the body was cremated after post-mortem. The reason for suicide is not clear yet.
