RaJeev Kumar, Noonh: Some people beat up a groom carrying a procession near Shikrawa village in Pingwan police station area. The accused put their car in front of the groom’s car and assaulted him.
The groom was none other than the family of his first wife. The victim was divorced a few months before his first wife. The injured youth in the assault is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The police has started an investigation investigation against 11 people, including 7 nominated people on the complaint of the victim.
The first marriage was five years ago
In the complaint given to the police, the groom Adil resident Dhadaula said that his first marriage was about 5 years ago to the girl resident of Dakakpur village in Punhana. There was also a child from the first wife. It is alleged that the wife had an illicit relationship with his nephew living with him, due to which she escaped with him. After this, he tried to bring his wife back home through the panchayat. But the wife insisted on staying with the nephew and refused to live together. After which he divorced him.
First wife’s brothers attacked
Adil said that his second marriage was decided in Sudaka village. On Friday, he was going to Sudaka from his village with a procession. As soon as he approached Shikrawa village, on the way his first wife’s brother along with a dozen people surrounded his car and attacked him. When the lock of the car did not open, the accused broke the glass of the car. Adil said that the accused, who came riding in the Bolero car, attacked them with illegal weapons, desi kattas, hammer and bike chains and assaulted them. The accused firing aerial from the katta threatened that if you do something, they would shoot.
Fight with Baratis also
Seeing the groom getting beaten up, when the baraatis tried to save him, the accused also assaulted him. Adil attacked both legs with hammer and sticks. After the incident, the injured were rushed to Pinggawan CHC in a hurry, where they are undergoing treatment. After the incident, the family members of the groom informed the police. Pinggawan police station has registered a case against 11 people including Shahzad, Asraf, Arshad, Iqbal, Abid, Irshad and Irfan on the basis of the complaint. All the accused are still absconding.
