Popular director Vikram Bhatt’s mother Varsha Praveen Bhatt died on 6 September. She was 85 years old. A source associated with Vikram’s family says that Varsha died due to organ failure. His funeral will take place at 2 pm. The Bhatt family has drowned in mourning due to rain.

Varsha was the wife of Praveen Bhatt, the most respected cinematographer of Indian cinema. Praveen Bhatt is also a famous cameraman, who has worked in prestigious films like ‘Sadak’ (1991), ‘Agneepath’ (1990), ‘Aashiqui’ (1990), ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke’ (1993) (1993) and ‘Dil Hai Ki Maat Nahi’ (1991).
