Vaishno Devi Jammukashmir Disaster: Four business brothers from Rajasthan died in a landslide on 26 August on Vaishno Devi Marg in Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy rains caused havoc, family and friends are immersed in mourning.
Vaishno Devi Landslide News: On Tuesday afternoon, the landslide on Vaishno Devi Marg in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir took away the happiness of many families. So far 34 people have died in this painful accident, including 4 youths from Rajasthan. The deceased were residents of Sujangarh (Churu) and Nagaur districts.
The four brothers who went to Vaishno Devi spoke before the accident
- Weeds are spread in Sujangarh town. Anil Soni (43) and Arvind Soni (35) were real brothers. Along with this, Gajanand Soni (32), resident of Sarothia and Sandeep Soni (35) of Nagaur, were also killed in this accident. A few minutes before the accident, the four had a phone conversation with their family members and shared the experiences of darshan. But who knew that this would be his last conversation. The family members of Sujangarh have now left for Jammu to take the bodies of their loved ones.
- According to the information, the deceased were four jewelers. Arvind and Anil used to do jewelery business in Sujangarh, while Gajanand and Sandeep were associated with the jewelery shops in Sarothia and Nagaur respectively. This incident is shocking for family and friends.
Two youths who went to Vaishno Devi from Dholpur still missing
- A sad story has also come out from Dholpur district. 5 youths from Sampau town went to visit Mata Vaishno Devi, but on the time of returning, Kishanpur got caught in landslides and sudden floods on Domel Road. Out of this, Aditya Parmar and Deepak Mittal saved their lives by swimming, while Yash Garg, Pranshu Mittal and Shiva Bansal are still missing. His family is camping in Jammu.
Where is the landslide accident in Jammu and Kashmir
- The landslide occurred near the Ardhkumari temple. Eyewitnesses said that in a few seconds the big stones fell down and the four devotees were hit by him. At the same time, Jammu recorded more than 250 mm rainfall in less than 24 hours on Tuesday. Heavy rains and floods caused havoc in many areas.
