Actually, this painful incident took place in Sakra police station area of Muzaffarpur district. Where Amarnath Ram (40), a resident of Nawalpur Mishraulia village, hanged himself along with his children. The deceased include the father and his three daughters Radha Kumari (11), Radhika (9) and Shivani (7). But the lives of his two and four year old sons Shivam and Chandan were saved. This incident has created a stir not only in the village but in the entire district. As soon as the news was received, police reached the spot and recovered all four bodies and were sent to the hospital.
Husband’s heart was broken by wife’s death
Initial police investigation revealed that Amarnath Ram loved his wife very much. But he died some time ago. After this he broke down and was under mental stress. After the departure of his wife, the responsibility of raising the five children fell upon him. It is being told that the entire family had dinner together on Sunday night, after which he slept, but on Monday morning Amarnath Ram hanged himself by making a noose with his wife’s saree.
God saved two children from death
It is said that Amarnath had asked all the children to jump from the roof by hanging themselves from his wife’s saree. As soon as the father said, all three daughters jumped, but 6 year old Shivam Kumar showed wisdom and kept the noose loose. After this, the younger brother’s noose was also opened, which saved both their lives.
