Muzaffarpur news: Mahant of Bahadurpur Math under Panapur OP in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar was murdered by unknown criminals. On Sunday morning, the police recovered his body from the banks of the Gandak river. After the body was found, a large number of villagers gathered and are demanding the arrest of criminals. It is being told that Mahant Rambabu Singh lived in Bahadurpur Math with one of his servants. He went to sleep in his room at around 12 o’clock on Saturday night. He was alone in the monastery at night.
Dead body found three kilometers away from the monastery
Family members have feared murder. He says that Mahant had no dispute with anyone, in such a situation, what was done, it is beyond comprehension. According to the police, the body of the Mahant was found thrown on the banks of the Budhi Gandak River, about three kilometers from the monastery. Some local villagers who came out for defecation identified the body along the river and informed the police.

Various discussions about the incident
On receiving the information, Panapur OP police immediately reached the spot and the body was sent for post -mortem. The body was completely stained with mud. Local people are angry with this incident and are demanding strict punishment of criminals as soon as possible. There are various types of discussions about this matter.
FSL and dog squad team reached the spot
According to the police, the FSL team and the dog squad team have been called on the spot. The police is investigating the case from all aspects. The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained. The ground dispute is being said behind the murder. However, the police is still avoiding saying anything. Police say how the murder was done will be known only after the post -mortem report.
