On the occasion of the unveiling of Patanjali’s new product Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling, Swami Ramdev said that this effort is a new record in the field of yoga and Ayurveda. Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling was unveiled by Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, Acharya Balakrishna, Indian Dental Association, President of Uttarakhand Branch Dr. Rajiv Bansal, Secretary Dr. Vishwajit Walia, Treasurer Dr. Vaibhav Pahwa. This product has been described as a historical attempt to restore the lost daily tradition of Ayurveda.
On this occasion, Acharya Balakrishna said that this product is the result of three years of tireless effort and dedication of scientists of our Patanjali Research Institute. Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling is not just a daily action, it is a medical science, which is the need of today. He informed that Gandush has been described as a major process of mouth health in the original texts of Ayurveda like Charak Samhita and Sushruta Samhita.
What is found in Dant Kanti Gandush?
He said that it has Tumbaru oil, which strengthens teeth and gums. Clove is oil, which provides relief in toothache. Peppermint oil destroys the bad odor of the mouth. And there is eucalyptus oil, which is rich in anti-bacterial properties, and prevents bacterial growth, as well as basil oil protects the teeth from rot and infection due to being bactericidal.
