Harish Sharma, who was originally a resident of Balliawas village, was married and had two daughters. His wife was ill and he often used to talk to him on the phone. This was passed on to Yashmeet. On Saturday night, when Yashmeet saw Harish talking to his wife, she became enraged.

There was a sharp debate between the two and in anger, Yashmeet picked up the knife from the kitchen and stabbed Harish’s chest. By the time Harish was rushed to the hospital, it was too late. Doctors declared him dead.

Harish’s friend Vijay alias Sethi, who was present on the spot, is also under police investigation. The nephew of the deceased has alleged that the murder was planned and Vijay collaborated in it. Police said Harish’s friend Vijay is also suspected of planning a murder, due to which he is under questioning. Yashmeet Kaur, a resident of Ashok Nagar, Delhi, has been arrested, as well as a knife and blood-soaked T-shirt used in the murder from the flat.
