According to the report of trade tracking website sacnilk.com, the pace of earnings of ‘The Kerala Story 2’ on the first Sunday after its release was faster than that of Saturday. The film has earned approximately Rs 3.93 crore till 8 pm on the third day. The final figure can go up to Rs 5-6 crore.
The three-day total collection of ‘The Kerala Story 2’, directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, has reached around Rs 9.33 crore (till 8 pm). The film, released on Friday evening, had earned Rs 75 lakh on the first day. Whereas on the second day it collected Rs 4.65 crore with a growth of 520 percent.

According to the report, the occupancy of the shows of the third film was higher than that of the second day. The overall occupancy of shows till evening was recorded at 13.08. The occupancy in the morning, afternoon and evening shows was 7.86%, 15.56% and 15.82% respectively. Whereas on the second day i.e. Saturday, the occupancy of morning, afternoon, evening and night shows was 6.45%, 11.88%, 11.42% and 19.05% respectively.
‘The Kerala Story 2’ is produced by Vipul Amritlal Shah under the banner of Sunshine Pictures. If reports are to be believed, the budget of the film is around Rs 28 crore. If we look at it accordingly, the film has recovered more than 33 percent of its cost in the first few days. ‘The Kerala Story’, released in 2023, had earned Rs 35.43 crore in three days, which was more than double its budget (Rs 15 crore). The first part had collected Rs 8.03 crore, Rs 11 crore and Rs 16.4 crore in the first three episodes respectively.
