Annual toll pass will become expensive from April 1, 2026 for drivers who frequently travel on national highways. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to increase the annual pass fee from ₹ 3000 to ₹ 3075. This new rate will be applicable for the financial year 2026-27. This pass is for those private (non-commercial) vehicles which have a valid and active FASTag.
According to the new rule, this pass of ₹ 3075 will be valid for one year or till 200 toll crossings, whichever is completed first will be applicable. This means that if you cross the toll 200 times, the validity of the pass will expire, even if one year has not been completed.
NHAI has directed all toll plazas and concerned authorities to implement the new rates from April 1, 2026 and inform the same to passengers and other stakeholders. According to the government, the rates related to toll fee are reviewed and revised every year, as part of this process, there has been a slight increase in the price of the annual pass this year.
