A surprising case has come to light from Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. The sudden disappearance of a bride just a few days after her marriage and the allegation of attack on the groom with a knife has sparked discussion in the entire area.

Controversy on wedding night, claim of groom getting injured
The victim youth alleges that the marriage took place on 21st February and the bride came to her in-laws’ house on 22nd February. The same night there was a dispute between the couple. According to the young man, when he went closer to his wife, she expressed her displeasure and allegedly took out a knife and stabbed him on his hand, injuring him. The young man says that after the incident he informed the bride’s family. The next day the family members arrived and gave advice and returned. However, the atmosphere at home did not become normal.

The family alleges that the bride disappeared from home on the third day of the marriage. Besides, gold ornaments and cash kept in the house were also not found. The aggrieved party claims that the family members suspected that intoxicants were mixed in the food as everyone was in deep sleep and the bride was not present in the house when she woke up in the morning.

During investigation, it came to light that the bride already had an alleged love affair with one of her relatives. The family alleges that the same person took her with him. However, the police have not yet given official confirmation in this regard.
