The family members came to know about the matter only when the girl, troubled by the misdeeds in the name of worship, attempted suicide.
On encouragement from her family, the girl has filed a case in the women’s police station. The police has arrested Dhongi Baba and sent him to jail.
According to the information, Govind Jha, a resident of Arapatti, used to come to a family living in Batraha for worship. Meanwhile, the girl’s relatives talked to Govind Jha about not getting married. The family members asked for guidance regarding worship etc. Taking advantage of this, Dhongi Baba told the family members that for this the girl would have to stay alone with him and worship.
According to the case registered, the girl’s parents had gone to the temple to worship. Meanwhile, the impostor Baba reached the girl’s house and gave her water in her hand to make her take a vow of worship and asked her to drink it. As soon as she drank the water she became unconscious. After this Govind Jha raped her. During this time he also made a video of the girl.
After regaining consciousness, the girl was silenced by threatening to make the video viral. However, even after this his coming and going continued in the family. During the puja, the fake Baba trapped the girl in such a way that the girl started believing everything he said. Govind Jha had claimed that after this sadhana she would get married to a senior officer.
Gave assurance of success in BPSC exam
Impostor Baba Govind Jha also assured the girl to get success in any competitive examination through his sadhana. The girl remained trapped in his trap and was sexually exploited for one and a half years. During this time the girl took the BPSC exam. She hoped that through this puja she would be successful in BPSC.
However, when the result came, he had got only 40 marks. After this he attempted suicide, but during this time his family members saw him and saved his life. After this he informed his mother about the entire incident and contacted the police. Police has arrested Dhongi Baba from Saharsa Railway Station. He was sent to jail on Monday.
