New Delhi: Marvel Studios for some time now has been struggling with keeping its streak of big hits intact. Titles such as The Marvels and Captain America: Brave New World have failed to meet the expectations of both audiences and the studio. While Loki and Deadpool & Wolverine are some titles that have led the studio to not fall to despair, things at the Marvel Cinematic Universe are not all cheery.

The latest edition of the The Fantastic Four series, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is Marvel’s latest chance at big box office redemption. It comes with a star-packed cast and high concept expectations. While fans have highly anticipated this return to form from Marvel, only time will tell how well it will fare and be able to change the fortunes of the studio and coming editions of the various franchise it is associated with.
After much wait, the final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps is out. It is just out in time, accentuating the already palpable excitement for the film, as it nears its release date. The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated to release on July 25, 2025.
Set against a stunning 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic backdrop, the film introduces a new, highly-anticipated and star-studded Marvel cast. Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing are a cast that have had audiences in a frenzy.
The movie will se them on a mission to stop Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson, a cosmic force bent on consuming Earth, and face off against his powerful Herald, the Silver Surfer, played by Julia Garner. While they try to save the planet, they all have a challenge of keeping their bond as a family intact. The film also stars Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles in supporting roles. It is directed by Matt Shakman, produced by Kevin Feige and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis and Tim Lewis.
