Many times superstition takes a person on a path where both humanity and morality are left behind. A similar shocking case has come to light in Navi Mumbai, where a young man committed embarrassing acts with his wife and mother -in -law on the pretext of black magic.
After the matter came to light, the police have registered a case and the accused is absconding.
Got clothes removed in the name of black magic
The case is from Vashi area of Navi Mumbai, where a young man named Ramesh, who is originally from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, was living in a rented house with his wife Radha and mother -in -law Sarita. Ramesh’s behavior was already suspicious. In April 2025, Ramesh claimed that Radha’s younger brother’s wedding was having obstacles and a special trick would have to be done to remove them. He told both the women that they would have to take off their clothes, only then this trick will be successful.
Due to fear and shame, then took pornographic pictures
Radha and Sarita agreed to Ramesh due to shame and family concern. But Ramesh’s intention was something else. He took pornographic pictures of both of them and then used them for blackmailing.
Ajmer called blackmail, then more embarrassing act
Ramesh threatened Radha that if he did not listen to her, then the pictures would make them viral on social media. In this fear, he called Radha to Ajmer, and on reaching there, sent those pictures to Radha’s father and brother to WhatsApp. This completely broke Radha.
Complaint lodged with police, accused absconding
Radha, showing courage, lodged a complaint with her family at the Vashi police station. The police registered a case against Ramesh on 3 July 2025.
A case has been registered under the following sections:
- IPC Section 351 (2) – Criminal Threats
- IPC Section 352 – deliberately insulted and attack
- IT Act – Efforts to spread vulgarity through electronic medium
- Maharashtra Black Magic, Aghori and other inhuman practices (prevention) law 2013
Ramesh is currently absconding and the police has intensified his search. Officials say the accused will be arrested soon.
