Nagesh claims- Documents to add fake names to the voter list to Election Commission

In his letter written on 31 July, Nagesh sought a copy of a document, which he claimed that he introduced it last year. It had a list of alleged fake voters in 174-Mahadevpura assembly constituency. Nagesh said that his team has lost the original documents added to fake names in the voter list.

Election Commission replied- We do not have your documents

To this, the Election Commission replied that it does not have any such documents. Nagesh has not filed any petition or appeal challenging the 2023 voter list under the relevant provisions of the Representation of the People Acts 1950 and 1951. The Election Commission said, “This office does not have a record of any such letter you received during April 2023 on the issue of voter list.” In the reply issued by Joint Chief Electoral Officer Yogeshwar S, it was also emphasized that the statutory voter list is publicly available online.
