As soon as the strong tremors of the earthquake were felt, people came out of their homes and offices. Tremors were felt for a few seconds in many cities, creating an atmosphere of panic among the people. According to the information, this earthquake occurred in Afghanistan, whose intensity was recorded at 5.9 on the Richter scale.
Tremors felt around 9:50 pm
The earthquake’s tremors were felt around 9:50 pm. Its effect was seen in the entire NCR region including Delhi and Noida. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were also felt in many cities including Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Srinagar, Poonch and Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir.

People living in high-rise buildings said that they felt the building shaking for a few seconds. Goods were also seen shaking slightly in many houses. Baldev Chand, a resident of Chandigarh, said that he suddenly felt a strong shock which lasted for a few seconds.
People came out of homes and offices
As soon as the tremors of the earthquake were felt, people in many areas came out of their homes and offices as a precaution. Especially more panic was seen among the people living in tall buildings.
No news of damage yet
At present, there has been no news of loss of life or property from any place. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation. It is being told that the epicenter of the earthquake was around Afghanistan, due to which its tremors were felt in many parts of North India.
Tremors felt in Pakistan too
The effect of the earthquake was also seen in the neighboring country Pakistan. Tremors were also felt in Islamabad, Peshawar and parts of Punjab province. At present, it is a matter of relief that no major damage has been reported, but the tremors of the earthquake definitely scared people for some time.
