A hair-raising incident has come to light from Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh which has raised questions on the sacred relationship between husband and wife. In Sipri Bazaar area of police station, a married woman has made serious allegations against her own husband and his accountant friend of gang-rape and threatening to kill.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately registered a case and started investigation.
Second life had started after sorrows
While narrating her painful story to the police, the victim told that her first husband had died in the year 2023. After becoming destitute, she met a young man who, posing as a government employee, proposed marriage. The woman trusted him and they got married on November 5, 2024, but little did she know that the person whom she was choosing as her partner would make her life hell.
that dreadful night of conspiracy
The incident took place on the night of 22 July 2025. According to the woman, her husband and his friend (who is an accountant by profession) reached home under the influence of alcohol. The accused mixed some intoxicant in the woman’s food due to which she became unconscious. The accountant friend brutalized the woman while she was unconscious. When the woman regained consciousness in the morning and protested, instead of being a shield, her husband threatened her to remain silent and beat her and threw her out of the house.
Serious sections against accountant and husband
The victim somehow reached the police station and narrated her ordeal. According to Sipri Bazar police station in-charge, a case has been registered against the accused under sections of rape, threatening to kill and criminal conspiracy. Police are conducting raids in search of the accountant and his friend (the woman’s husband). Medical examination of the woman has been done.

Under the Indian Judicial Code, there is a provision of punishment up to life imprisonment for giving intoxicants to a woman and having physical relations without her consent and aiding in this crime. Jhansi Police has assured that after collecting evidence, both the accused will soon be sent behind the bars.
